Every child and adult faces moments in life that feel overwhelmingly large—obstacles that tower over us like an impossible mountain, making us feel small and unprepared. Long ago, in the land of Israel, a young shepherd boy named David faced that exact reality. His story remains one of the most powerful reminders of what happens when faith triumphs over fear.

The Shepherd Boy and the Threat
Before he ever stood before a king or a giant, David spent his days quietly caring for his family’s sheep. He guided them through green fields and trusted God through every quiet moment. But peace in the valley was interrupted when a massive Philistine warrior named Goliath stepped onto the battlefield.
Standing over nine feet tall and clad in heavy armor, Goliath mocked the Israelite army day after day, demanding someone step forward to fight him. Fear gripped the camp, and no one dared to move.

Stepping Out in Faith
When David visited the camp to bring food to his brothers, he heard the giant’s arrogant shouts. While everyone else saw an unbeatable enemy, David saw an opportunity for God’s power to be displayed. Brought before King Saul, the young shepherd refused heavy armor. Instead, he trusted the strength that had protected him from lions and bears while tending his flock.
Armed only with a sling and five smooth stones from a nearby stream, David walked out to meet the giant. When Goliath laughed, David delivered a timeless declaration of trust: “You come with sword and spear, but I come in the name of the Lord!” With a single well-aimed stone, the giant fell, and victory belonged to God.

Stepping Into the Impossible: Introducing ‘The River That Stopped Flowing’

We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate another wonderful milestone here at Epic Faith Studio! Our latest children’s book adventure is officially live, bringing one of the most breathtaking moments in the Bible to life through our signature vibrant 3D animation style.
This week, we are diving deep into the incredible story of Joshua, two brave children named Joel and Miriam, and a roaring river that seemed completely impassable.

The Story: A Rushing Barrier
Imagine standing on the edge of everything you’ve ever dreamed of, only to find a massive, flooded river blocking your path. That is exactly where the Israelites found themselves after forty long years of wandering in the desert. The mighty Jordan River was overflowing its banks, swirling with dangerous force. To human eyes, crossing it with families, children, and animals was completely impossible.
But their brave leader, Joshua, stood before the crowd with absolute confidence. He didn’t look at the strength of the currents; he looked at the faithfulness of God. He told the priests carrying the golden Ark of the Covenant to do something that required radical courage: “Walk directly toward the Jordan River. When you reach the water’s edge, do not stop. Step right into it.”

The Miracle of the First Step
Can you imagine what the priests felt as their sandals clicked closer and closer to the splashing foam? The water didn’t part while they stood safely on dry ground. They had to take a brave step of faith first.
The very instant the lead priest dipped his toe into the rushing, muddy water, a spectacular miracle happened:
Upstream: The water stopped in its tracks, piling up safely as if held back by an invisible, giant hand.
Downstream: The remaining water swept away, leaving the riverbed completely empty.
The Highroad: A miraculous wind instantly dried the muddy ground, transforming a dangerous trap into a safe, dry highway of smooth stones.
Every single family walked safely across to the other side without getting their sandals wet. God made a perfect path where there seemed to be no way.

Twelve Stones of Remembrance
To ensure this mighty miracle would never be forgotten, Joshua commanded twelve men—one from each tribe—to pick up a large, smooth stone from the middle of the dry riverbed. They stacked them into a tall monument on the shore.
Joshua looked at the families and said, “In the years to come, your children will look at this pile of rocks and ask, ‘What do these twelve stones mean?’ Tell them this wonderful story… These stones remind us to always take that first brave step of faith, because we are never alone.”

Welcome to our very first post in the Parents’ Corner!

We are so thrilled to have this dedicated space to connect with families, share devotional insights, and dive deeper into the timeless truths behind our animated adventures.
To kick things off, we are celebrating a wonderful milestone: the official release of Bible Heroes for Kids: Vol II The House on the Rock – Book 8: A Story About Strong Foundations!

This story brings to life Jesus’ famous parable from the Sermon on the Mount about two builders. It teaches our little ones what it truly means to listen to wise guidance and build a life that can withstand any storm. To celebrate the launch, here is a special, bite-sized edition of Book 8 that you can read together with your children tonight:

The House on the Rock
The morning sun shone brightly down on a beautiful, rocky hill. Two builders, Leo and Ben, were looking for the perfect spot to build their brand-new homes. Both had big plans, lots of wood, and bright smiles. But they had very different ideas about where to start.
Leo walked up the steep path to the very top of the hill. He tapped the ground with his foot. It was solid, hard rock. “It will take a lot of hard work to dig into this rock,” Leo said, wiping his brow. “But a strong house needs a strong foundation!” Leo spent days carefully cutting, hammering, and securing his house deep into the stone.
Down below, Ben looked up at the rocky hill and shook his head. “That looks like way too much work,” Ben laughed. He walked over to the flat, soft sand near the beach. “Building here is fast and easy!” Within no time, Ben’s house was completely finished. He sat on his porch, sipping cool juice, while Leo was still hard at work on the hill.
A few weeks later, the bright blue sky suddenly turned dark and gray. The wind began to howl through the trees, and heavy rain poured down from the clouds.
Whoosh! Crash! Splash!
A massive storm had arrived. The small streams turned into rushing rivers, and the floodwaters rose higher and higher, crashing violently against both houses.
Down on the beach, the water swirled around Ben’s house. Because the sand was soft, the ground began to wash away. The poles began to shake, and the walls began to tilt. With a loud CRACK, the house on the sand fell completely flat! Thankfully, Ben ran to safety just in time.
But up on the hill, the wind roared and the rain lashed against Leo’s house. The storm pushed and pulled with all its might, but Leo’s house didn’t budge. It didn’t shake, and it didn’t crack. It stood perfectly still and strong because it was anchored deep into the solid rock.
When the storm finally passed and the sun came out, Ben looked at his ruined house, then up at Leo’s safe home. Leo walked down and gave his friend a warm hug. “Don’t worry, Ben,” Leo smiled. “We can rebuild it together. But this time, we start on the rock!”
